The front
The back of the barn.
The house, now
A little fun to see the house again after 12 years.
When I took this picture of a cow that was stuck in the entrance of the old house.
I've actually been twice with prizes.
As the years have matured quite a bit more.

Barn charm, Ringsaker, Norway
How so many small farms in Norway in the past. It is called in Norway for crofts.
Here they had a cow, some sheep and maybe a few chickens.
Here they had a cow, some sheep and maybe a few chickens.
Otherwise, they worked on farms or in the woods, it was the main income.
This charming old cottage has been restored and preserved.
This is from early spring.

Could it be this incredibly large barn that is located not far from Hamar in Hedmark?
This building is just so incredibly impressive large, and in three!
Fantastic!

Bra, flott!

Horn's barn after 6 years fully restored!
The building dates from 1911 and 101 years old.
It cost nearly 2.5 million Norwegian kroner to save this magnificent building.
It has become instead of stone slabs on the roof, but that it would be too at all could be saved.
They received 700,000 from the Norwegian culture Memorial Fund and various other support.
Good, good!

Freedom of not having to start painting this huge building.
When you see residential house in the background you get some perspective on size.
Impressive that it is kept alive by such residents, and made a great honor to them.
Wondering exactly what they have / maintain such a large building.
Here is the rub window glass that will ensue, painted and kept in order.
I know a large part of the roof has new plates, there is few square meters.
Beautiful bell towers in the Swiss style, cool that it is painted white.
